Onei MK-I Halo Flat Iron Review : The Best Solution For You

I just bought the Onei MK-I Halo Flat Iron. I finally found a great deal on a nice sleek black one for just $99.99. I was a bit spectacle as I have been using a CHI straightener for the last five years. However, some of the pros of my new straightener are the versatile looks it can give you. It can straighten and curl hair. This is great because it is a way to keep my life compact since I don’t have to use a straightener and a curler. I had to get used to curling my hair with a new technique, but once I got the hang of it I was very content with the purchase.

The Onei MK-I Halo Flat Iron made my hair so silky, smooth, and easy to manage. Normally, I wake up with completely boring flat blonde hair. My hair just won’t hold a normal curl since it is so long, but I have always dreamed of having those loose beach waves. Typically, I have to douse my hair in a lot of hair spray. I was pleased to find that the dual floating multi-coat ceramic plates were easy to use, and the curls stayed in place. Not only did they hold, but I was able to alternate between big beautiful bouncy curls and tiny ringlets. A true sign of a cheap straightener is that it will pull the hair, but the Onei MK-I Halo Flat Iron seems to be perfect for all hair types. It left my hair intact, and didn’t seem to damage it.

After receiving so many compliments on my new curly locks, I decided put it to the test on my sister. Sissy and I have complete opposite hair types. She has big brown curls. Therefore, a powerful hair iron is absolutely necessary for her before she goes to any big event. I normally use the iron on its lowest setting of 140F, but I decided to turn it all the way up to 360F since I wanted her hair to look stick straight. The straightener goes up to 450F, but I wouldn’t trust that heat on anyone’s hair, it could really damage it. Luckily, the negative ionic energy protected her hair from the high heat. As I moved the Onei MK-I Halo Flat Iron down her crazy curls, and they instantly looked smoother. Once, I added some straightening cream her hair reached that stick straight look I was looking for. Finally, we had found a solution that not only looked good, but it looked stunning. I wanted to buy her a straightener so she could get her hair done before school, but I was a bit hesitant considering the heat goes up so high.

I caved in and bought her one since it had worked so well. The first few times she had some trouble getting it as stick straight as I made it, but after a few times of using it she developed a technique. She turns up the heat really high which I hate! But, she can finally manage her frizzy mess. Since she is always in a hurry and so forgetful, the 30-minute auto shut off was really helpful since I don’t have to worry about the house burning down. I love when I see her bring home friends from middle school, and give them makeovers with the iron.

Overall, the Onei MK-I Halo Flat Iron was a great purchase. I worry about the high heat but I guess that’s the case with all straighteners. The ceramic plates are definitely worth the money for getting a 2 in one product.
